Case Summary:

Matt was playing with the pirate background, granting him the ability to intimidate. His party was trying to find out where the adults were by talking to some children who would not cooperate. Matt wanted to intimidate them into talking and rolled a Natural 20. However, instead of success, Matt's DM ruled that his intimidation was so good that the children ran away scared and now the entire town is mad at Matt's party.

Verdict:

Justice Axford succinctly points out that a roll, one through twenty, gauges success not severity. Justice Murph was seething while hearing this case and strongly concurs with Justice Axford. Justice Wilson commends Justice Axford on her point and agrees.

The DM is sentenced to roll a Natural 20 that causes them to infinitely perform back handsprings into eternity or a volcano, whichever comes first.
